- The state of Romania in an ICSID investment arbitration regarding a dispute derived from the effects of the most controversial insolvency procedures in Europe, the insolvency of Hidroelectrica; by an award issued end of 2018 the ICSID tribunal fully dismissed Alpiq’s claims of over EUR 400 million and ruled that Romania observed its undertaken obligations as host State and did not breach the investor’s rights;
- Constructors and beneficiaries in over 30 cases having as object some of the most complex and diverse infrastructure design and construction projects disputes pending both before the national arbitration institution and the Romanian courts of law;
- Major banks acting on the Romanian market, in hundreds of litigations having as object consumer protection cases, various debt recovery cases and/or other commercial disputes;
- Various companies in disputes regarding claims filed by current employees challenging sensitive sanctioning decisions or by former employees challenging termination decisions following corporate restructuring decisions or following disciplinary misconducts; companies acting in various fields (construction, engineering, consultancy, IT&C, aviation, etc.) in some tens of disputes stemming from public procurement procedures, both before the National Council for Solving Complaints (”CNSC”) and the courts of law.
