Zamfirescu Racoți Vasile & Partners is one of the leading law firms in Romania, established 28 years ago by a powerful group of business lawyers and litigators.
Set out below are some key milestones in the history of the firm.

1995

Calin-Andrei Zamfirescu and Ariana Zamfirescu set up the law firm Calin Zamfirescu & Associates

1995

Ioana Racoti and Catalin Predoiu establish their own law firm Racoti Predoiu & Associates.

2003

Stan Tîrnoveanu joins forces in partnership with Calin Zamfirescu & Associates and becomes Senior Partner.

2006

Merger of Calin Zamfirescu & Associates and Racoti Predoiu & Associates to create Zamfirescu Racoti Predoiu Law Partnership.

2007

Anca Danilescu and Cosmin Vasile become Partners of Zamfirescu Racoti Predoiu.

2008

Catalin Predoiu is appointed Minister of Justice and his attorney capacity is suspended for incompatibility reasons.

2013

Zamfirescu Racoti Predoiu becomes Zamfirescu Racoți & Partners

2016

Elena Iacob and Alina Tugearu become Partners of Zamfirescu Racoți & Partners

2017

Professor Valerian Cioclei joins the White-Collar Crime practice as partner of counsel

2018

Monica Strimbei and Catalin Micu are promoted to partners, management team expands to 10 partners

2019

Cosmin Vasile becomes name partner and the firm changes its name into Zamfirescu Racoti Vasile & Partners

2020

Zamfirescu Racoti Vasile & Partners merges with Dumitrescu Băjenaru Oancea (DBO)

2021

Cosmin Cojocaru becomes partner of the firm

2022

Crenguța Florea and Ovidiu Șerban join the management team as partners

2023

Professor Valerian Cioclei exits the partnership of the law firm.

2024

Violeta Saranciuc and Alexandru Iorgulescu join the management team, expanding it to 17 partners.
